OffBeat is a folk film club that screens archive documentaries exploring Britishness, British Culture and British Music in the 20th Century.
We host evenings of talks, curated music and films which show the often overlooked stories of what makes these islands and the people that live on them so weird and wonderful islands.
Inspired by the folk clubs of the 1960s and 1970s, our events are open, inclusive and participatory. We regularly host nights at the Walthamstow Trades Hall in North London. www.offbeat.film
